Electronics Bench & Site Engineers
Profile
The successful candidate must have experience with equipment such as AC & DC drive systems from thyristor control to AC & DC servo drives and be able to repair faults down to component level. Experience with microprocessors, monitors and logic systems would be advantageous. Self motivation and the ability to manage your own workload are important qualities. Academic qualifications are not essential however a successful track record with a sound electrical and electronic background within the repair industry is essential. The position would require the successful candidate to possess the ability to diagnosis, fault find, repair and test (in-house & on-site).
Tasks
- Have full regard for the company’s reputation and the nature of its business. Ensure repairs are carried out to the required standard and undertaken in a time scale that meets production commitments.
- Fault finding, assessment, repair, test and re-commissioning
- Carry out working activities in a cost effective, efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Make maximum effective use of equipment ensuring that it is maintained in good order
- Employ good housekeeping practices to increase efficiency and avoid accidents
- Implement working practices and carry out duties as specified by your supervisor
