Cleaning Stations
All parts of the servo motor are cleaned to remove grease, oil, cutting fluid or any other contaminant found.
We use a variety of cleaning stations that best fits the requirement. Vaqua blast, ultrasonic tanks, rotary wash tanks and solvent clean tanks.
All the parts are then dried in our temperature controlled ovens.

Servo Motor Testing
We light run test all servo motors when the repair has been carried out. The feedback sensor alignment is set or programmed and the motor is tested ‘off load’ to check for operation. We use a variety of our own designed test rigs, manufacturers drives and the Mitchell TI3000 to run the servo motor prior to the full load test being carried out.

Feedback Sensor Repair Bench
We use a number of our own designed and propriartory test pieces to check the operation of incremental and absolute encoders, resolvers, hall effect sensors, serial encoders and memory devices. We also use the Mitchell TI5000EX

Assembly Benches
Once all parts are serviced the servo motor is assembled using special tools required for servo motor assembly.
The brakes are fitted and set, the feedback sensors are assembled and set and the motor is ready for the first in a series of final tests.

Rotor / Armature Balancing
Each rotor or armature from a servo motor is check balanced against a standard tolerance.
All mechanical reclamations i.e. keyway repairs, bearing housing or journal repairs, are carried out in our fully equipped mechanical workshop.
